“I love this story because it really represents the people that are judged unfairly. No one should ever have to endure being bullied like Hailey did. Chase tried to be the hero but even he couldn’t save Hailey.” ~ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star Review Goodreads Reviewer
“Great job to S. Donahue for projecting what it’s like to live through bullying and eventually coming out stronger in the end! Great book!” ~ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star Review Goodreads Reviewer
“This story brought out some of the fears and insecurities I also faced as a teenager. I love that the story has an HEA, but not in the way you would think. I would recommend this book to everyone” ~ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star Review Goodreads Reviewer
Hailey and Chase went to school together. He was the boyfriend to her enemy. He still defended her, even then. Did he care for her? She sure never knew.
Now it is time to go to her 10 year High School Reunion. Her assistant signs her up, even though she does not want to go. Why should she want to see those who treated her poorly?
Chase sees her before the reunion, and wants to know he knows her. When he sees her at the reunion before she leaves, he is surprised she is the mystery girl he is looking for.
Can they start over and see if the attraction takes them anywhere? Chase sure wants to give it a real chance. What if the high school crush you had asked you for a real life chance?
This book was exceptional! The feelings from how the lead felt in high school were there. I felt as if I was right there! This book reminds us that high school is a high octane experience and real life is later and more real.
